Things I’m taking into 2026 💫

1. Sticking with markets I know:
It won’t be exclusively but I’ve already booked some of the ones I know will be successful. I am open to new markets but it would have to meet certain criteria I think.

2. Preparing for the festive season early:
I say it every year but this will be the year…I think! Let’s just say I haven’t started yet 😂

3. Building on what I’ve already built:
I’m super proud of what I’ve achieved in almost 8 years so I just want to build on the foundations that I’ve already created. I don’t want to be a ‘big’ business I just want to get better every year because I love what I do 🩷

4. Making sure I do the things I love doing and prioritise self care
Sometimes driving the business can be a lot sometimes especially towards the end of the year so it’s important that I take care of myself and try not to burn out. Which means doing fun stuff, going to concerts, going on holiday, spa days or just chill days ❤️

I’m very grateful I have my little business and this year has started off with a bang so thank you so much for being here and supporting my dream 😘

My word of the year is Flourish 💫

Last year was pretty turbulent, I moved out of my first home not because I wanted to but because I had to. And incase you’ve been around for a while you’ll be pleased to know that my nasty neighbour got a little bit of karma after stealing one of my ring cameras 😂 Anyway, I spent 6 months at my parents which allowed me the time to find my next home and she’s a beauty.

So that’s why this year I want to flourish, I want to grow, I want to enjoy life again. I now have the head space and physical space to put my everything into this aside from a 9-5 job which rudely gets in the way Monday - Friday (pays the mortgage though).
As Taylor Swift famously sang Are you ready for it? Because I definitely am 🫶🏼

Here’s a little bit about how the business started…

I started back in 2018 ( which seems like a lifetime ago but also feels like last year at the same time!)
I’d come out of University in 2013 not knowing where I wanted to go, I was in job after job never really feeling settled.
In 2017 we lost my great aunt and uncle within a year of each other, they’d agreed to leave their money to the great nieces, meaning I had the opportunity to pursue something I loved doing, being creative.
If you haven’t guessed it Betty was my great aunts name and she will forever be apart of this journey.

This is our 8th year and I’m so grateful to still be here!

This season has been a whirlwind of amazing events, lugging market stock by myself for 6 different markets, moving house just before the chaos, working every waking moment, juggling a 9-5, trying to make a house a home and trying to enjoy the festive period.
